Madden 25 and the Future of Madden '13

Well, it's hit June and many of you know what that means -- Madden 25 is just over the hill.

I want to thank everybody that has stuck around this long (and it's great to see we're still going strong) and assure you that we're planning to complete at least one more season before hanging up the cleats in Madden '13. With that in mind, I have a few announcements to make.

First off, we're going to be opening up team reservations for Madden 25 later today. There will be several rules concerning this move:

• You have first right to the team you currently have -- as in before swaps are made this offseason.
  
• If you are swapping to a team that has no owner, or the owner is willing to move FOR NEXT SEASON then you will have first rights for that team as well. Thus, you can claim a team and swap with somebody and KEEP YOUR CLAIMED TEAM for Madden 25. For example, my coach was fired and I'm looking to possibly swap teams to keep my coach, and I would still be able to claim the Broncos for Madden 25.
  

The conditions to this are simple: you must finish out Madden '13 with EOTP or you will lose claim to your team. (Sorry, Red, but we must have rules about this.)

I am going to take this opportunity to state that this will be our final season in Madden '13.

It's been great, but people are clearly losing interest.

We will finish the season and play the Super Bowl, so if you're still interested in playing, keep active. I will remind those that have swapped teams, if you do not finish the season you will not keep your claim.

Furthermore, I feel I should remind you all that Hellcat is setting up an NCAA league for when the game comes out in just under two weeks. I encourage you all to join if you're going to buy the game.
