Season 4 Week 14

Week 14 has the Titans holding on to a 1 game lead over the Jaguars with the Colts threatening to make it a 3-team race in the AFC South. Titans (7-5) vs Chargers (3-9), Jaguars (6-6) vs Texans (2-10 CPU?), Colts (5-7) vs Seahawks (8-4 CPU?).

What a horrible game on the defensive front. Man coverage was two steps behind at all times, zone defense was five yards back on every throw, zero pressure, let the halfback run at will. No stops on 3rd down...not much to say other than it was an ugly, ugly game.

The Titans had no answer for the pass to yourself ability of PTC. The user ability clearly was the difference in the game as Dalton completed 16 of 20 pass attempts and moved the ball down field at will. The game opened up for the Titans once Johnson showed that he could move the ball on offense. A string of running plays was capped off by a play action pass to TE Jared Cook for a touchdown. It was too little too late.

It just wasn't a good day to play Madden. A pick 6 on the first play of the game, tie the game and force a punt, fumble on the return that turns in to 3 points. A pick 6 to end the 2nd half and a Kansas City kick off return for a touch down to start the 3rd.

Had a sub for this game and the first two games were filled with lag and disconnects. We walked away and eventually played Rolph as the sub and things went the Titans way in this game from the beginning. HB Johnson dominated on the ground and the defense played extremely well and forced two fumbles, three interceptions, and three sacks. The Jaguars lose to the Colts, which gives the Titans a 2 game lead in the division.

HB Chris Johnson continues to be the focus of the opposing defenses which allows WR Kileon Waugh to be the shining star of the Tennessee offense. He didn't disappoint as he took control of the deep passing lanes and helped to convert crucial 3rd downs. There was some chatbox concerns afer the game about the Titans GM but the Titans organization is not overly concerned about the comments.

Titans wore down a talent ladened Raiders team and pulled out a needed win in front of a home town crowd. WR Waugh spread out the defense early in the game which paid off in the later quarters by opening up running lanes for HB Johnson.

The game was determined by turnovers (5 int) with the user skills of DirtyPillowTalk1 showing that he is user talented. He's so good that he doesn't need to bother with a "gg" at the end of the contest. Noted for next time.

AZxRusH is a veteran of the defunct West Coast Football League (WCFL) and defunct Beat Down Madden League (BDML) and is a current GM in GameLobby. He has had one super bowl appearance, two division titles and several playoff appearances in the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
