Madden 25 Season 1 Predictions/Outlook
Well, another era begins in the EOTP madden history. So with that were gonna do some predictions (and hopefully finish them before i get bored out of my mind). I would like to keep these as short as possible, but knowing myself they will drag on forever. So i'll try and touch on every divisions weakness and strengths. Without further ado, let's get right into it starting with the NFC East.
**
Brackets denote playoff seeding.
NFC East Projected Finish
-Redskins 11-5 (3rd)
-Giants 9-7
-Cowboys 8-8
-Eagles 7-9
The NFC East has been dominated by Yao since M12, the last few seasons we had seen a switch in the power change towards Chuko's Redskins. I expect it to stay that way for a bit unless Yao suddenly resumes his play from earlier in the EOTP years. Essentially the winner of this division whom ever it may be just needs to win 4-6 games of his division, the NFC isn't as competitive as it used to be. So wins will come from outside, take care of the division games and you should be fine. Chuko needs to keep doing what he did in the end of Madden 13, Use RGIII, some more, and more, play stellar D and the division should be yours. Phenom...I don't know man, make the playoffs so i can be happy for you! Get shady involved as much as you can and build a fast defense to stop RGIII and the option. Â Asasn, goes for everyone but you need to win division games to be able to compete. And Yap, keep sucking? No i wish you the best, but keep your stellar Run D going and be less predictable with your Offense.
AFC East Projected Finish
-Bills 13-3 (2nd)
-Jets 9-7(6th)
-Dolphins 9-7
-Patriots 8-8
The AFC East has been home to the biggest choker in the franchise, Hellcat. Hellcat has cruised through the East in many occasions over the last several Maddens. With a new year, comes new teams and a new user in the division. I expect closer games, but widening record margins. Hellcat still cruises in this division, but the real race will be to see if Clutch or Red can push themselves for a Wildcard race in a new and tough AFC Conference. For Hellcat he needs to sharpen up his defensive skills, always has been a home run defense that forces turnovers and allows tons of yardage through the air. For Clutch his offense has always given him problems progressing through the franchise. The last time you could say he was successful was when we had Tebow at the helm in his read-option scheme. For Red, his offense also needs to take the next step in order to make the playoff push, with new weapons  TE Dustin Keller and WR Mike Wallace, they should give him a very potent offense. and new to the AFC East, Philly. Expect Philly to feel the repercussions of the East's tough division games at the end of the season, as he tries to feel his way through the East in his 1st season, expect him to be competitive in all his games, but not enough for a playoff position.
NFC North Projected Finish
-Vikings 6-10 (4th)
-Lions 5-11
-Bears 4-12
-Packers 3-13
What can i say, this division is bad. I really can't comment on this at all. Another committee member may be able to, but this will be the first division that will feature someone making the playoffs with a sub .500 record. The only reason im picking Doopy to win this division is because he features a potent running attack with the best RB in the game... Other than that, This division is wide open and by far the worst division in EOTP HISTORY...sheesh, had to get that off my chest.
AFC North Projected Finish
-Bengals 14-2 (1st)
-Steelers 13-3 (5th)
-Ravens 8-8
-Browns 8-8
Going from the worst division in EOTP to arguably one of the best. The North features to SB winners who have been dominate their entire time since joining EOTP. Lone and Warren will be the best match-up to watch all season long as these two power houses get to duke it out twice this season. For Lone to win the division it comes down to simply beating his toughest opposition Warren, if Lone can split i for see him taking this division by a game or a tie-breaker. For Warren it's vise versa. Beat Lone and you can win the division.
For the other two, Mauve and Rolph, you'll both face an uphill battle in trying to compete for the division. As Warren and Lone should be alternating division titles.
NFC South Projected Finish
-Falcons 10-6 (3rd)
-Buccs 7-9
-Panthers 6-10
-Saints 6-10
The NFC South isn't a real strong division, with Ed being the only legitimate playoff caliber team in my eyes. Really all Ed needs to do is win the division games and  a few outside and this one should be a rap. While the records are low, the division is no where nearly as bad as the NFC North. For the rest of the division, you'll have to be able to win the division games and ultimately beat Ed to have a chance, although in my eyes again. No one is capable of beating Ed on a regular basis to compete in the division. With that said, good team building, and solid defensive play to stop the duo of Roddy and Julio can lead to a few upsets...
AFC South Projected Finish
-Colts 12-4 (3rd)
-Titans 9-7
-Texans 7-9
-Jags 6-10
The AFC South features an old face returning to EOTP. PTC is a time SB champ here at EOTP, and his presence will be immediately felt in the AFC South. The South before PTC's arrival was a division full of mediocrity. OP was a up and down and made the playoffs a few times, but inconsistency has been his problem. Jekk, and NCS have all had their ups and downs but never really took the next step to be able to make the playoff push. Look for PTC to get a hold of this division early and keep it. the question is can a 2nd team fight for what i have is 1 remaining wildcard spot in the AFC to be fought over it.
NFC West Projected Finish
-Rams 13-3 (1st)
-Seahawks 11-5 (5th)
-49'ers 11-5 (6th)
-Cardinals 6-10
This division is by far the toughest division in the NFC, and can possibly be the toughest in EOTP. This may be wrong, but based off of one game and perception I feel that GPA will win this division and cruise through the NFC. The division games will be tough for everyone, but as a common trait throughout the divisions, winning your games inside the divisions usually leads to success (Except for the 2011 Raiders).  Hof has had tremendous success building a Chargers team in the AFC West that he took from the ground up. He has able to  lead them to a few AFC Conference Championship games. Bama had success in the South with the Panthers, never went far into the playoffs but was able to make it at the very least. Bama needs to find the winning edge in order to survive and find a wildcard spot in this tough division. As for AZ, im predicting this division has both the wildcard teams in the West, unfortunately, you will not be one. The West is a really tough division. I always hope for the best. P.S. Trade me Fitzy.
AFC West Projected Finish
-Raiders 10-6 (4th)
-Chargers 8-8
-Chiefs 4-12
-Broncos 3-13
Probably the weakest division in the AFC, the Raiders owned by Rain have reigned through this division going back to M10. Rain has always been a consistent performer in making the playoffs and winning his division. But he has made the SB only once and generally doesn't progress far into the playoffs. Making the playoffs for Rain will be a good first step, his team is depleted of talent and needs another good off-season before his team will be in good shape. For Lethal and the chargers, hard to predict with another team that is low on talent, but a user that has a had a winning track record, will be interesting to see how the battle for the AFC West turns out. that leaves Zou and Dan, I believe you guys will struggle, big time. Dan you may be in the running for the 1st OVR pick in the draft.
AFC Playoff Seeding:
1. Bengals (LoneWolf) 14-2
2. Bills (Hellcat) 13-3
3. Colts (PTC) 12-4
4. Raiders (Rain) 10-6
5. Steelers (Warren) 13-3
6. Jets (Clutch) 9-7
Just Missed:
-Dolphins (Red) Reason for Missing: Divisional loss
-Titans (OP) Reason for Missing:Conference Wins
-Chargers (Lethal) Reason for Missing: W/L record.

4. Vikings (Doopy) 6-10
5. Seahawks (Hof) 11-5
6. 49'ers (Bama) 11-5
Just Missed:
-Lions (Urbana) Reason for Missing: Divisional Loss to Vikings
-Giants (Asasn) Reason for Missing: Division W/L Record

Lone is better than Warren?!? I thought you said Warren is the "best player by far" you've ever seen.

I'm hoping for the prediction state that I'm right. Their both up there. Was trying to go out a limb and give lone the division title.KilledMyGPA wrote:Lone is better than Warren?!? I thought you said Warren is the "best player by far" you've ever seen.

Good work on the post. I don't think I'll win the division, I'm not very good at this game this year.Hellcat wrote:I'm hoping for the prediction state that I'm right. Their both up there. What do you mean I never went far in the playoffs! I made the conference championship only to lose to Warren!

Re: Madden 25 Season 1 Predictions/Outlook
COnfused how i get no love. I know i've only played 2 seasons, but I went 9-7 and missed playoffs by 1 game yr 1 and then yr 2 went 10-6, won the division, won my WC game, and lost to Bama in the conf semi on last second FG. Disappointing, but this fuels the fire in Motown.
