Ncaa class is too raw imo. It's gonna take 3 seasons to get these guys up to par and we will be going to xb1 by then.

Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
The difference between the NCAA and EA classes is that the NCAA classes the players have the physical stats to come with (Speed, ACC, STR, AGI ETC). In the EA clases you have WR's with 88 speed and 66 ACC or vice-versa. Developing players isn't hard this madden unless you're trying to up speed/acceleration/agility.
Plus drafting real players adds to the realism
I voted for NCAA.

Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
normally, i'd be down for ea drafts but they're too wonky in this edition. WRs and CBs with 60 spd (oline type of stats), safeties with 5 bsh, dts with 60 and below str, etc.
hopefully they're not subpar and more realistic next time around.

This. It's unrealistic to expect players to gain as much acceleration or speed as we would need for them to be useful but players improve skills like catching or block shedding moves all the time.
Plus, this will be our only chance to use NCAA draft classes. We won't have this option next Madden.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
As long as the NCAA players aren't extremely overrated, and are similar to this year, I think we'll be fine. I voted for NCAA.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
I'm sticking with NCAA as my vote. While the first rounders probably aren't as good as they should be, in reality these players enter the league raw -- you shouldn't be getting true starters outside of the first or second round.BigRed8592 wrote:As long as the NCAA players aren't extremely overrated, and are similar to this year, I think we'll be fine. I'm sick of seeing the EA draft classes of 25 with their stacked first rounds and absolutely shit depth afterwards where every player is athletically defective in some way -- I haven't kept many players past the second or third round in this entire franchise compared to keeping most of my players going into even the seventh round in '13.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
I probably should have asked this before I voted, but will they be real players or just players created by the NCAA system? The novelty is what entices me. I've begun to lose interest in made up players. I like being able to get the guys I've watched play and at least have semi-expectations about.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
I vote NCAA because taking a top MLB prospect from the EA class and him having 78 speed and 56 accel makes me a sad panda

What do you think we did this past draft class?Mauvestorm89 wrote:I probably should have asked this before I voted, but will they be real players or just players created by the NCAA system? Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
I understand that, but those players were going to hit the draft anyways. Will the next class just be all seniors or will they factor in people they THINK will declare (such as Jameis Winston)
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
I think Braxton Miller and a few others will declare. I'm working on the draft class so it can be uploaded during week 1.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
Aw I didn't know you made it I thought we downloaded it from a 3rd party.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
Downloaded and tweaked. Some of the stats they came up with and the players that came out just didn't makes sense.Mauvestorm89 wrote:Aw I didn't know you made it I thought we downloaded it from a 3rd party.
Re: NCAA Or EA Draft Classes
