Regarding madden and I

Before I say anything, let me admit it was a dick move to just "disappear" (again) but I'll try to explain it. (FYI, nothing happened to me this time, though.)

First of all, all of those who know me know that I was having freezing issues with my xbox for quite a while. It wasn't too big a deal from mid November on, as it didn't happen much, but it starting occurring more frequently. It got to the point where I couldn't even finish a game back in..March I think? I forget which month (anyone who ever has to restart knows how frustrating it can be when you're up and it's your fault the game has to restart and you lose your lead, or if you're losing, people accuse you of quitting, etc, and it's consistently freezing game after game, week after week). I was almost 100% it was the power cord( as the red rings stated), so I ordered a new one. I wasn't able to play for a few weeks in that period, and when it finally came, the playoffs just started, so I didn't really get to even try it out for 2 weeks, as EOTP was my only league at the time, and most of my other time went into school and other stuff, so I didn't play madden besides the league. Finally, the first week of the new season, I try to play my game and it freezes again. I was really pissed off, as I just spent money on a new cord and the same shit was occurring. I then resorted to cleaning my xbox out completely, which was a pain in the ass. I wasn't able to play my next few games because of school, but the first chance I did, I got a hold of my opponent, booted up the match (Yao can vouch for me if he remembers, I sent him a message on xbox saying "Superbowl here I come" as a joke), and the same thing occurred.. again; however, this time it froze at team selection, so I figured it might of been a fluke. I told my opponent my power went out (didn't want to admit to myself that the same shit might be happening again after all the stuff I did, nor to the league, as I kept saying it was fixed.. when it really wasn't). I waited 30 minutes and started the game back up. Xbox was nice and quiet for once, seemed like it was running smooth, and the very first kickoff, it froze. At that point it was pretty obvious that my Xbox was just fried.. and I knew there was no way I was getting a new xbox 360 after 7 years. I even tried messing around in the lobby right after to see if it was just my disc and it froze there after like 3 minutes. At this time my computer was broken so I hadn't been on the site in a while either. I was extremely pissed off and just said f it and stopped playing. I could of gotten on the site on my phone, but my phone is so terribly slow that it's really annoying to even try. For those that were wondering, my computer was broken for a month,so that's why I wasn't on the chat much for a while, so it's not like I was getting bored of madden and just slowly slipping out of the league. I really did want to play all my games, as I enjoy playing madden.. but that shit was becoming way too frequent and I didn't want to admit that I lied to you guys that it was fixed.. well.. not that it was my intention to lie, because I was 100% that after each thing I did it was going to be fixed, which made it even more frustrating.

So, like I said, didn't really mean to disappear, but with my computer being broken, xbox being broken and etc.. didn't want to make it seem like I was just blowing off the league for months because I was bored and then randomly quit like everyone else. So I didn't bother even coming back to say anything.. because most of you would of probably assumed "lone was bored and dicked us around for months about how his xbox was broken but in reality he was just bored of madden and then made up an excuse to quit" (but still mainly because I was too pissed off to) I know there's a few things I forgot to mention in here, but it's been a while.. so I forget them by now.

Anyways, congrats to hellcat on the Superbowl win. Hof got that stacked team and couldn't cheat his way through this time it seems. Gl with the league.. not sure when I'm getting an xbox one. Been working part time for the summer but just got screwed by the bank. I really hope to get one by august. I have classes 5 days a week next week, and from 10-am-10pm on Monday and Wednesday..but we'll see.

You know, it's a bit hypocritical for somebody who has quit repeatedly to make a comment about somebody else who quit.

You guys forreal right now.. guess I'm famous or something. started an argument. I'll take whoever is open pending when I get an xbox one, but I'll mostly just play for fun and upsets since I might have a couple of sims a year.. and the way things have went, 3-4 losses puts you out of the playoff picture
