Chiefs agree. Smith is in the last year of his contract and wants Cam money....so why not go out and get the man himself

I really don't know. It's a haul for a great QB but at the same time I have my reservations about trading future picks so early in the franchise.

I would approve this trade but since we denied another trade due to having future picks in it then i think its only fair to deny this one for the same season.

the condition for HG quitting sounds reasonable.

but that last trade may have been denied "because of future picks", but it was absurd for more reasons than just that.
