Trading Rules & Format
You are allowed up to 7 trades for the entire season (starting in offseason). The Trade Deadline is Week 8. In order for trades to get approved, you must post using our format.
Our admins may summarily approve a trade, provided there is no clear problems brought up with somebody else, but major trades (80+ overall or many moving pieces) will need to clear a majority vote (3/5) within the committee to reach approval. Examples of trades that will need to be reviewed are those with high draft picks involved (1st or 2nd), trades with new members and trades involving 3-4 players on each team.
This is an example of a trade our committee will approve:
It is required for us to know as much information as possible about the players before approving the deal. A deal that wouldn't be approved would be:
Also would like to point out that players that are Injured during the season CAN NOT be traded for any reason at all. If they are out past the deadline then they can't be traded for the season. Max players allowed to be traded in one trade is four.
Once both sides agree to the deal, you CAN NOT back out of the deal. If you do attempt to back out while the trade is being approved, you will have to convince the other owner why you do not want to go with the trade. If both sides agree the trade will be voided, if the owner still wants to do the trade then the trade will be processed if the league committee approves the deal.
While picks may change hands multiple times per season, players may only be traded once (including both the offseason and during the season). Free agent signings may not be traded.
