EA Access on Xbox One

I thought this was pretty sweet and figure I share.

Basically, it's an updated version of EA Season Ticket and more. For $4.99/month or $30/year, you'll get access to free EA Games (Madden 25, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, Peggle 2 being the free games at the start), 10% off digital download from the actual EA games and DLC, and just like Season Ticket you get access to games now five days before the games release worldwide (including Madden 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA Live 15, and Dragon Age Inquisition).

More than likely the free EA games will probably be older EA games, then again if you never played them or want access to them in the future, it could be a good deal. Even if you get EA Season Ticket like in the past you'll be getting additional content now. So it's a win/win regardless. Though for now, this is an Xbox One exclusive and not on the PS4.

Just came to post this. Sounds like a great deal, for 10 extra dollars a year we get early access 2 days earlier and get to play other EA games for free. The 10% discount is another nice bonus, I'll save a little money on FIFA, NBA, NHL and Dragon Age.

Did they announce a release date for this? Obviously will be available before Madden 15 but I'll probably go ahead and get my One on that release day instead of Madden 15 release date.

They actually said early access is now up to five days, though mention they have some restrictions and conditions applying to some games, so probably not all of them will be a full five day early access.

The beta started today as they announced this with only a few select people getting into the beta. That'll probably last a week or two, then the full release date is only mentioned to be "coming soon." However, if it's going to have Madden 15 as a early access game as they mentioned in the article, then it should be out full fledged no later than August 21st.

Just wanted to let everyone know: EA Access is officially live on the App Store if you wanted to download it. Right now you can download Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden 25 and Peggle 2 for free after purchasing the subscription.

Same here. I wasn't sure the money was worth three days ahead of release with Season Ticket so I'm sure as shit not paying $30 for what amounts to an extended demo and access to old games I already have.

i can see that, but for me it's worth it as I dont have battlefield 4, fifa or madden 25 since bestbuy sale. but still for 2.50 a month its ok. "just wish longer then 6 hours"

Thankfully I only did the one month subscription myself. Fifa and I guess the 6 HOUR TRIAL OF MADDEN is gonna be sooooooo worth it!
